SurveyProf.com began in january 2008 as a small favour to a good friend who needed some help in setting up a survey for her study. It was easy to visualize an online survey tool. After a quick search on google, it turned out there are many examples. However, even after evaluating more thoroughly many of the offerings, I could not find a proper solution for this ambitious, non-technical, money drained, student. All she needed was a good survey tool, which is easy to use and costs absolutely nothing!

I decided to take up the challenge, and started setting up her survey. Minute after minute, hour after hour, my enthousiasm for 'this survey thing' grew. After many weeks of unplanned hard work, I came up with a very simple but effective survey concept. SurveyProf.com was born!

Eversince, SurveyProf.com continues to benefit from ongoing development. More and more students are putting in questions, bugreports and feature requests. We're happy to fullfill as much as possible of the demands, and to help out as many students as possible. As a result, the service keeps improving and expanding.
